We missed the brunt of the winter while still in warm Jerusalem, and now D.C. is in full bloom. Of course, we enjoyed the cherry blossoms recently. Claire discovered how fun it is to take pictures. I know the camera isn't completely safe in her hands, but it is so fun to see the results. Here are two slideshows sampling her work. The first we'll call "Portraits" and the second is "Still Life."
It's so fun to see what kids see at their eye level. I'll have to get a camera for Gladys!

Loved this. My son loaded up the pix off their camera one morning, and they found about 50 pictures they know they didn't take. When about half of them were portraits of Matchbox cars, they knew their four-year-old had been busy.
